EPC is committed to making our events a safe and positive experience! To do so, we are enforcing the following safety measures. We are keeping a close eye on new information within each state's guidelines and are staying in contact with our venues to be sure we follow their regulations as well as all CDC guidelines. We will make sure that we update you on any changes or additions specific to your event.
1. Studios will be scheduled in a time block system to minimize the amount of people in the building at one time.
2. Social Distancing will be practiced throughout the event including dressing rooms, backstage and spectator areas.
3. If state and venue capacity guidelines allow, each dancer may have one parent spectator present. We will live stream each event and awards so that additional spectators can watch from home.
4. Face coverings that cover both the nose and mouth will be required at all times.
5. Partnering and other choreographic elements are up to the discretion of the studio owner. Allotted group sizes will vary based on state and venue regulations.
6. We understand that make-up and costuming may be difficult for a variety of reasons, so it will not be taken into consideration during the scoring process.
7. Frequented areas will be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized after each block. We will provide hand sanitizing stations throughout the event.
8. Adjudicated and specialty awards will be presented after each block. Overall awards will be streamed LIVE online following the event.
*Virtual, social media friendly overall awards and gift certificates (for qualifying categories) will be emailed following the event. In lieu of awarding overall trophies for the 2021 season, EPC is committed to donating trophy costs to charitable organizations. If you would like to donate your adjudicated awards as well, please let us know. For more information, visit our awards page.
9. Printed programs will not be for sale this season. Competition schedules can be found on our website as well as the DanceBug app. We will have a scannable QR code available on-site for easy access to the schedule.
10. Merchandise will not be available to try-on. We prefer a cashless system of payment by credit card or Venmo.
11. The week before your event you will receive an email with more detailed information specific to your venue and event. Please read thoroughly and reach out to us with any questions.
Thank you again for your continued support throughout these difficult times. If you have any questions or concerns regarding your event, please do not hesitate to email us at info@eliteperformancechallenge.com.
Stay well,
The Elite Performance Challenge Team
